College commitments?
« on: September 26, 2019, 11:49:25 am »
Just curious, is anyone going to post any information regarding some verbal college commitments? Apparently , California has had 5-6 D1 verbal commitments but haven’t seen anything posted on this site.

Thanks for posting the last bit of news regarding Lujan. Also, thanks to CCSRanker for the information regarding where to find college commitments. But, It’s not that I needed to find out who committed where, rather my post was intended for the California Wrestler reporters.

In recent years, The California Wrestler has done an excellent job posting commitments by our California high school wrestlers on the home page. I noticed that this year, the commitments have not been featured as previously done. The last one was Ming to Stanford. Since then we’ve had at least 7 D1 commitments and nothing on the home page.

The college commitment is the biggest decision these wrestlers look forward to announcing. This is why they work so hard both in the wrestling room and the classroom.

Let’s keep what you began going. Post those awesome commitment photos these colleges design for their newly committed wrestlers. It not only promotes our sport but it also encourages other wrestlers to work harder to attend and compete at four year institutions.

Good thing Nagao follwed Coach Josh Holiday's lead to Minn instead of Coach Christian Holiday to Liberty then Cal State Fullerton. Coach Christian is a one man serial program killer!
