Cochlear Implant
« on: October 27, 2015, 10:35:49 pm »
I have a potential wrestler who has a cochlear implant.  I'm wondering if anybody else on this forum has dealt with this.  I would love for the kid to be able to wrestle safely, but don't know how properly protect him (possibly some heavy duty special headgear.)  The parents are concerned about any potential hits to the head (as am I.)  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much.  I'll forward this to the parents so the physician can make the final decision.
