Any video available? Finals? Some notes that I found interesting...125: Evan Silver looks to have established himself as the best 125 lbner in CA.133: CSUB might have a situation here. I thought Nickell would be the man, but Mendoza made a statement by placing 2nd, AND only losing by one to Mango. The match might be worse than the score indicates, but I saw Mendoza and Mango wrestle two years ago and both the score and the match were ugly. Props to Mendoza for continuing to improve.Cal Poly might have a similar situation developing. Lotito was the man last years, and looked to be the man this year. He took a loss early to Nickell, but that these have swapped wins and losses. Colt Schilling comes out with a win over Nickell, and a nice 4th place showing. It might be moot, since Schilling could very well be redshirting.141: Brown and Locksmith traveling 3000 miles to wrestle each other in the finals. Nasser looks to a good pick up for any DI school. Hope he redshirts next year, and transfers in two years. Any news on T. Box's injury?149: Kastl and Hvolbek with a nice showing. I'd like to have watched these two wrestle in the semi's. Coleman Hannond seems to be improving, though he took a loss to Willie Fox.157: Max Schneider...MOW? No respect for winning the SF Tournment, and now handily wins the Roadrunner Open.165: Wilson! Don't want to toot my own horn, but I said awhile ago, his style would translate nicely to the college game. Adam Fierro with a respectable 2nd place. I truly see both these guys on the podium in the next couple years. What's the deal with Meza? Thought he was going 157? He's a tough wrestler, but I think he will see more success at 157, and CSUB could really use him there.174: Dominic Kastl injury update? After missing all of last year because of injury, I hate for that to repeat. Bryce Hammond also MFF for 3rd. Any injury update? Hammond also has an injury filled past, so I hope it's not too bad.184: Sheptock proves his top 3 ranking, and blitzed the field.197: Boley, 8th ranked, handles the field.HWT: CP's Empey having a nice season out the gate. Pac 12 has two good freshman heavyweights.
