Downey 32 Way Individual Championships 2020
Varsity Wrestling Tournament
32-man double elimination format

HUGE GYM:
We will have 8 mats in one gym containing multiple large restrooms and plenty of bleacher seating on BOTH SIDES of the gym.

Dates and Times:
Friday April 2nd  Weigh- ins 1-2pm   1 lb allowance 107,114, 121, etc…  Wrestling Starts at 3 pm
Saturday April 3rd Weigh- ins 7-8am  2lb allowance 108,115,122 etc… Wrestling Starts at 9am

** This past year we were done with day 1 at 8pm. Day 2 we finished at 4pm which included the medal matches 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th with podium pictures in between. **

Coaches Hospitality:
Two coaches will get feed on Friday and Saturday. Friday snack bar item includes cheeseburger or pulled pork sandwich with chips and drink. Saturday last year we had Fajitas.

Registration:
All lineups and seeding info must be registered on the TMI Website more information will come when date approaches.


Fee:
 $350 per team due by 11/18. Late Fee Charge. Made out and sent to: Downey HS Wrestling, 11040 Brookshire Ave, Downey CA, 90241
There will not be a returning team price discount.

Help Wanted / Downey High Assistant Coach

Downey high is looking to hire a coach. The position requires that you be available from 2-6 pm and available for Saturdays during the high school wrestling season. stipends available.

We are a large program that currently has 75 boys. The school has just built a second wrestling room in order to create more room for both the boys and girls teams.

Downey High School is looking for a varsity assistant coach. Will be in working with Varsity and JV. The wrestling program currently has 40 kids who are extremely motivated.

College Experience Preferred.
Must have placed at CIF during High School.

Stipends available.
