This was tough to watch. Very little fight by the Bulldogs. I knew this year would be tough, but hopefully the coaching staff can continue to motivate this young team. Their 157 went right to his back on a head lever and gave up the pin with zero effort. Don't see that kind of thing too much in college. Hopefully this will be a valuable learning experience...

It's been a long year for a young group.  This definitely wasn't one of their better efforts.  It's hard to win at all in college.  The road duals are that much more difficult.  It's not like they've wrestled an easy schedule.

They've actually done pretty well considering.  Just have to have some realistic expectations.  They've had some good moments.  Next year projects to be a LOT more competitive based on some of the results.

But first, one more easy home dual against Oklahoma State...  :o

Have to agree with Adam on the competitive improvement moving forward. D-1 wrestling is a completely different animal from high school competition. Coach Steiner and his fine staff will accept the challenges and improve next year and beyond.
